About Julia

Julia is passionate about helping people thrive in their full potential.

Julia's Story

Julia has been using her bachelor's degree as she graduated at Portland State in communication sciences and an associate degree in business management. While starting her career in the radio industry in 2018, Julia was inspired to speak in different areas of influence. Her experiences, mentorship, colleagues, friends and time in ministry has helped her gain confidence.

Julia overcame depression and hopelessness throughout her life as she lost her father and uncle at 16 years old to suicide. In addition to other losses and traumas, Julia found herself speaking up for those dealing with internal struggles.

Julia also dealt with many struggles throughout her life. When Julia was just 8 years old, she was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes (T1D). She understands what it's like to live with a chronic illness. Julia is an advocate for holistic health and has even lost 70 pounds in her health journey.

Julia has been a worship leader since she was 20 years old. She is often on vocals and plays guitar and piano.

You will notice that Julia's hope and joy is contagious, and her story inspires hearts to live with a victory mindset. Julia believes that people's lives can change for the better from carrying a survival mindset to coming into a place of thriving.

As you hear Julia speak in person or on her YouTube channel, Thriving Joyfully, you will witness her drive for seeing young adults thrive in the early years of navigating life, school, career, faith, family, relationships, and overall health and well-being.
